Distortion of facts by Modi

It is not fair at all that being the Prime Minister of our country, rendra Modi would distort the facts for the sake of election campaign for his political party in Assam as he had said in his speech, "Assam is in the bottom of five states in terms of development" which is not true as per UNDP Human Development Index and Government data, Assam stands at the 16th position, not included in 5 states i.e. Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh,Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar as claimed by the prime minister.

Rahul, Gaurav & Congress liabilities

Rahul Gandhi, vice president of Congress and Gaurav Gogoi, MP Kaliabor and son of Tarun Gogoi, has of the late become liability for their party. During the election campaign meetings it has been observed that both the leaders have just single agenda in their mind that is to attack Prime Minister rendra Modi. I have been thread barely following the campaign process for the past 20/25 days have found that these two leaders are just following their senior colleagues. Congress has made some achievements in the last 15 years but nobody including these two leaders are highlighting the work they did. At the same time they are not divulging the future course of programmes and actions of the party as a result most of the listeners vacate meeting venues prematurely (before schedule). Much was expected from these two young bloods of the party but they have failed miserably. It is clear reflection that Gaurav Gogoi who have not worked for the party at grassroot level have is a novice and he has lot to learn before he becomes star campaigner of the party.

Rahul Gandhi on the other hand has a proven track record of failures but he is still star campaigner for the party because the party has sidelined some of the efficient young ones for certain reason which is known to all.

Drama by intellectuals

On 2nd April a press conference was called by some intellectuals of the city led by Hiren Gohain, Udayditya Bharali urging the voters to boycott BJP and its allies in the ensuing polls. Timing of the call from the intellectual society to boycott BJP and its allies is very much mystery. Recently self seeker Akhil Gogoi under the banner of KMSS has asked the voters to refrain from voting BJP and now suddenly this intellectual body (resembling comet) doing the same. Like Akhil Gogoi these bunch of intellectuals just kept their tongues in check by not asking the voters to vote for Congress but indirectly appealed the voters to vote for Torun Gogoi led Congress. But people are not fool anymore and can understand the hidden agendas of such groups. It is always welcome that some intellectuals ( Buddhujibi in assamese) guide the general public but they must specify or explain about the both sides of the coin. Merely putting one side of story before the public raises many question marks over their integrity and standing. This coming election is perhaps the most difficult election for the ruling party and their leaders have admitted it in public. All sorts of tactics are used by both the rivals parties to win the election and perhaps Congress have mage these bunch of intellectual just like they have maged KMSS chief. Nothing is impossible in today's politics. A group which was silence over the years when there was ubated corruption, infiltration of foreign tiols which is threatening the existence of indigenous people, rhino poaching, settlement of anti tiol elements on xatra land and Kaziranga belt, etc all of a sudden raises their voice for support of Congress. Sadly everything is maged.
