Exemplary bravery

Two Indian Army soldiers recently rescued a woman from drowning in Patbausi village in Barpeta district. According to the local eyewitnesses, the woman jumped from the bridge into the river and that raised a hue and cry among the locals. Immediately when informed by the local people two brave Army jawans swung into the rescue action thereby rescuing the drowning woman. The two brave soldiers were Subedar Ram and Havildar Ashok Bhaskar of Jay Regiment who without caring for the lives dived into the river. The whole rescue operation was recorded by the locals and that video clip went viral in the social media. There are numerous acts of bravery of our Army but yet every time questions about their integrity and superiority are questioned by our opposition. The surgical strikes of our Army in the enemy’s territory is still questioned by some opposition leaders. Only Almighty knows when our Armed forces will be able to please or prove their gallantry to our hard rock opposition.
