Is it possible in India?

Mr Tom Price, the US Health Secretary had to resign over the use of expensive chartered plane for an official business. The USA is one of the richest countries of the world as well as a developed tion. India is, nowhere near to the USA. Despite the fact, the US authorities are accountable to the public and as such Mr Price had to resign. The question automatically comes to our mind: is it possible in India? The answer is obviously 'No'! Our Ministers, MLAs, MPs, bureaucrats and officials are looting and wasting public resources (tax payers' money) without let or hindrance. No accountability! It appears that most of our people, after occupying public office, become law unto themselves.  We are a poor and underdeveloped country, because we mis-utilize public resources. Forget about big ticket loot! Let me give a simple example of how public resources are being wasted for persol work. Some government officials of our State get government owned vehicles to use for official work. However, very often than not, we find them using these for persol purpose. It is high time to curb such wasteful expenditure. This also amounts to corrupt practice.
