Job security of NRC staff

Through your esteemed daily I would like to draw the attention of Finance Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in terms of the job security of the contractual staff under the NRC (National Register of Citizens). The contractual staff who were appointed under merit basis under the Central government's project the NRC in 2014-15. Since then a total of 829 employees at fixed pay basis have been working for the NRC and have completed 5 years in district and block levels. The contractual staff are at a loss on their job security as their helpers already were released by the State government. Even some employees already have crossed the age limits for applying for any other post. If the State government does not take initiative regarding job security, the employees will be insecure.
