Keeping early hours

Modern age makes us witness many new phenomena. Earlier we were guided by certain maxims. We had to develop many good habits, rules as directed by our elders. 'Early to bed and early to rise' is one among others. Punctuality was the order of the day. But many such things are gradually disappearing aptly to be replaced by 'Late to bed, late to rise'. But that still some exception is there that cannot be ruled out. Nowadays, for many there is no hard and fast rule, now even I have seen some taking lunch at 3-4 p.m. and dinner at 11-12 midnight or even later. Guardians who cannot set an example for their children forfeit their rights to advise them. Newspaper reports suggest that according to the researchers eating dinner late at night can lead to high sugar level with simultaneous increase in high pressure and put people at increased risk of being overweight. According to the study published in the journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, over 2.1 billon adults are estimated to be overweight or obese which results into worsening of diabetes and hypertension that a person has been suffering from. According to some studies consuming calories late in the day is associated with obesity and metabolic syndrome. Obliviously, as a result of the said complication the person is all set to suffer from cardiac and nephrological problems. If only we can change our food habit keeping early hours we can get rid of many complications.
