Killing of Elephant by Trains

The NF Railway authorities particularly the officials of Rangia Division, in consultation with counterpart of forest department innovated a device of diverting jumbos off railway track by taking recourse to honey bees amplified buzzing sound. They placed the instrument in railway track in vulnerable forest area of elephant corridor and other place of railway track. This problem of dashing moving train by elephant population is deterred by placing the instrument of honey bees buzzing sound in the vicinity of railway track at suitable places and thus successful in controlling killing elephants and other animals. This is a welcome move and appreciable measure.
