Kudos to Padma Hazarika

While many other MLAs have cut a sorry figure in their performances, MLA of Sootea Constituency Padma Hazarika has shown an exemplary instance and helped in solving the vexed unemployment problem to some extent. He helped at least more than 1,000 unemployed youths to earn their livelihood. He helped them set up an Agricultural Farm in Jamugurihat that has produced more than 100 quintal of rice every year. That apart, the youths weaved 50,000 gamochas, produced 7,500 litres of mustard oil and 6300 kg of molasses (gur) in a year in the farm itself, as suggested by a newspaper report. That apart, as many as 40 self-help groups have been able to get Rs 22 crore from the Government of Assam. Kudos to Padma Hazarika.
