Laudable Verdict 

It is highly welcome and commendable that Delhi Court pronounced death sentences on January 8, 2020 against the four convicts in the brutal rape-cum-murder of a paramedic student, Nirvaya and set the date January 22 for hanging till death after 11 years of committing this heinous crime. It is good that though justice is delayed, yet not denied, after all. But there should be speedy justice within a stipulated timeframe. Anyhow, the hanging of these convicts will send out a strong message and act as deterrent.

I would, therefore, like to request the judiciary as well as investigating agencies to place such cases in fast-track courts.
