Plying of vehicles

The odd-even formula for plying of vehicles is good at present during the period of lockdown with some relaxations. But along with relaxations, vehicles are plying haphazardly resulting in traffic jams. Of course, the restriction should not be applied for essential services such as medical service, police, fire services, emergency response for restoration of telecom and electricity, other law-enforcing agencies and other essential services. I would like to request the Government and the Transport department to apply the odd-even formula in city, urban and semi-urban areas in the lockdown period. In normal time also this formula can be applied. The DCs of Jorahat and Sivasagar can take steps towards that end.
