Rahul Gandhi should stop criticizing Modi

In the last general election to the parliament Rahul Gandhi spearheading the Congress campaign attacked Narendra Modi on purchase of Rafale jets saying there was large-scale corruption in the deal and calling Modi "desh ka chowkidar chor hain". Gandhi's remarks could not influence the Indian voters and BJP under Modi's leadership came back to power with a huge majority. Even after losing so badly in the Lok Sabha election Rahul Gandhi has not stopped criticizing Narendra Modi for every decision taken by the government. Constructive criticism is always welcomed in a democratic form of government, but criticisms which are not constructive are not welcomed by the general public. Rahul Gandhi should in fact concentrate to reorganize the Congress party to meet the challenge from the ruling party. The defection of his party man has brought down the State government in Madya Pradesh and the government in Rajasthan may fall in any time. Losing the two States will be a major blow to his party.

It is high time CWC reorganized with both senior and young leaders in the team.

There are number of young talented and capable leaders in the party, and the party should utilize their service to strengthen the party before it is too late. Sharad Pawar, the NCP president has also suggested that Rahul Gandhi refrained from criticizing the Prime Minister and rather concentrate to organize his party and if necessary, taking the rein of the party once again. The dynast factor in the party is also damaging the image of the party. Some leaders of the party are of the view that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot not giving importance to his deputy Sachin Pilot is due to Vaibhav Gehlot who happens to be the son of the Chief Minister and whom the CM wants to groom as future Chief Minister of the State. The party high command should be serious to see that inefficient persons do not get importance in the party than the efficient ones due to their closeness to the bosses of the party. Rahul Gandhi should sit with all leaders both old and young and introspect regarding the poor performance of the party rather than attacking Prime Minister every time.
