Slow internet hindering online classes

Slow internet hindering online classes

Through the columns of your esteemed daily I would like to bring it to your attention that in Assam, looking at this situation when the schools, colleges and universities are closed due to lockdown, the government and private colleges and universities started online classes to cover up the syllabus which was to be taught during these days. They have put all their efforts in giving online video classes effectively. The only challenge that is coming as a barrier in making online classes effective is the internet issue. As many of the students come from interior places such as Nagaland, Mizoram and the internet access are not the same everywhere. So those students are not getting proper benefit of online video classes. The same problem is faced by me as well. Thus, I would like to ask the respective universities to find out some other way which will be equally effective for all the students because, “Knowledge should be distributed equally.”
