Students’ dilemma

Students’ dilemma

The Government of Assam has been dealing with the problems of Coronavirusb (COVID-19) actively and appropriately. Amidst that I want to bring a little attention of the authority concerned to the academic sector. Nowadays everyone is afraid of the harm associated with coronavirus but among them the students of different sections are abruptly disquieted towards their academic careers. The SEBA (Board of Secondary Education, Assam) and the AHSEC (Assam Higher Secondary Education Council) have not yet announced any proper information regarding the declaration of results of HSLC/HS candidates.

The virus has already taken its toll. The delay in result declaration dates has infused a sense of insecurity among the students in terms of their carrier and academic decisions.

I request the authority through your daily to throw some light into this matter so that the youth can get a relief. It will not only help the students to overcome their fear but will also help them to prepare for new welcoming roads. It will also make them aware of ‘BACK TO STUDY’ theory as the lockdown has made them deliberately cease to think of their career or other academic matters!

Priyangshri Bhargab,

Mangaldai
