Without substance

The other day, while watching a news bulletin in one of the news channels, I was shocked to hear a comment made by the daughter of the APCC president that Narendra Modi is a spent force amongst the youth of the tion. May I ask the lady in question on what assessment she made the comment? I would like to remind her that in the recently held elections in the prestigious Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University, ABVP, a student organization owing loyalty to the BJP, emerged an outright winner. The poll result of the above mentioned university clearly proves that rendra Modi is still the most sought leader of the country. Such blue-blooded persons can confuse anybody with their statements which are devoid of any substance.

Commendable job!

At the onset I would like to congratulate the ex-agriculture minister Nilamoni Sen Deka for being a good husband and a generous master. I do not have much to write about his achievements as an agriculture minister but one thing is sure that he has made a fortune for his wife, son and his chief cook. He amassed huge property in his wife's me, helped his son to fill his coffers by all means from his agriculture department and also maged the APSC department which is headed by a person called Rakesh Pal, having the same type of genes as him, by securing a position in APSC list for his son, and lastly procured huge properties in the me of his chief cook (who couldn't have dreamt about such fortune in his wildest dreams). Nilamani Sen Deka followed the 'make hay while the sun shines' policy when he was holding agriculture portfolio. Now he can rest assured that he has made enough fortunes for his next three generations to lead a prosperous life. On a serious note, common people like us have no confidence over the law of the land and now it is up to the Almighty to do the needful justice to such crimil leaders like Nilamoni Sen Deka!

Fake sincerity

Neither the Central government nor the state's ruling dispensation will realize how grave the situation is in the Bangladesh border with Assam. The people are convinced about the fake sincerity of the state government regarding stalling the influx from Bangladesh. The expectations which the people had from the BJP were shattered when the BJP revealed its real identity after coming to power. The law and order situation is reaching a point of dir in the Tarun Gogoi led government. People are not certain if they can return home safely when they go out for a piece of business.

To make the matter worse the unearthing of a training centre by Jamat-Ul-Mujahideen in Chirang and the subsequent bbing of their trainees (terrorists) is enough to show how volatile the situation is. People now have become disillusioned too, as the circular legalizing the entry and citizenship of the Bangladeshi minorities will adversely affect the indigenous people of Assam. Can the NDA Government at the Centre guarantee the constitutiol safeguard of the indigenous people of Assam, so that the minorities of Bangladesh whose entry and citizenship are being legalized, cannot overtake the indigenous people of Assam?
