For the last couple of days, Zubeen Garg has faced with a barrage of criticism over his meeting with the Chief Minister and the Minister for Agriculture and Veterinary. Though his prompt response to the reaction of the critics has revealed honest motive behind the meeting, many hardly find a point on his part to have to seek government's assistance for getting his passion project 'both the field and the market are ours' materialized. Zubeen was one of the torchbearers of the nationwide protest against CAA and he himself said that an artiste should be independent, away from politics. He further said that he would make a scene if CAA was not repealed.

As for the praiseworthy initiative aimed at revolutionizing the agricultural sector for the sake of the unemployed youth of Assam, he could have sought assistance and cooperation from the masses, rather than from the government. Had Zubeen let the people know about his plans and need of financial aid for the implementation of the same, he would perhaps never felt let down. An altruist who is blessed with the love and affection of the people of Assam doesn't need to approach politicians for such a noble undertaking.

Given the strong and bold role played by the artiste in the CAA agitation, the possibility that he may fall into the clutches of the political tactics can hardly be denied. If Zubeen is made to feel alienated from the hearts of the masses, some people will be benefited. So, he needs to be cautious while venturing into doing anything. I strongly believe that an artiste is most welcome and can feel absolutely secure being amidst the general populace.
