Amitabh Bachchan Admires Efforts of Those Behind the Scenes

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan admires the efforts made by those who work behind the scenes. Amitabh tweeted a photograph from the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

He wrote: “The brilliance of all the lights in the world shall never be able to replace the hard and tireless work that those that labour behind the curtains to accomplish our efforts... They are the force that needs all credit and admiration.” On the acting front, Big B will next be seen in Thugs Of Hindostan with superstar Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh.

The official description of ‘Khudabaksh’ character reads, “Wading through storms & battles, the commander of Thugs has arrived. Amitabh Bachchan as #Khudabaksh.” Going by the motion poster, it seems Khudabaksh aka Senior Bachchan is the captain of the ship, more like a Pirate commander. The background score and the eagle flying in the poster give a hard-hitting effect and set the mood right. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film has been shot aboard ships According to the makers, this Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial is the first Bollywood film to have the sea as the backdrop of the storyline.

Thugs of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel, Confessions of a Thug. It is about a gang who posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India during the early 19th century. Yash Raj built two mammoth ships — weighing two lakh kilos — on which the film has been shot. The film is set to release on November 8. The movie has been budgeted at approximately Rs 300 crore.
