Ajith Kumar is a renowned Indian film actor who is preponderantly known for Tamil cinemas. He is also a passionate car racer. He started working in a Tamil movie, Aasai as a supporting character in 1995. The actor has starred in around sixty movies by now. He also worked in several Telegu films and a Bollywood movie. He has played as a romantic hero in various blockbusters movies like Kadhal lottai (1996), Kadhal Mannam (1998), etc. Later he proceeds into method acting in movies like Vaali (1999), Mugavaree (2000), Citizen (2001), etc. He was prestigiously awarded three National Awards and also state awards for his acting artistry. He is quite well-known for major studio films with lead roles in several romantic comedies along with drama to action thrillers. Apart from acting, he also took part in the British Formula 3 season in 2004 as a formula two racing driver. At that time, he was third-ranked as the best Indian racer.
