Salman Khan Pokes Fun At Priyanka Chopra, Asks Why She Even Needs A Dating App

Actor Salman Khan finds it amusing that Priyanka Chopra has launched a dating app in India. At a recent event for his upcoming production, Notebook, Salman Khan talked concerning dating apps and even poked fun at Priyanka Chopra.

According to a report by the media, Salman Khan was asked at the event concerning the relevance of notebooks within the time of digital media and dating apps like Tinder. Salman Khan quipped, “Why solely Tinder, and not Grindr?” Grindr may be a geological dating app solely for gay, bi, trans and queer individuals.

He was then asked concerning Bumble, a dating app launched by Priyanka in India recently. Salman asked concerning the app and who launched it and then asked why Priyanka Chopra desires a dating app in the least, considering she recently got married.

Salman and Priyanka were supposed to work together on his forthcoming film Bharat however Priyanka Chopra left the project simply a few couples of days before the shoot was supposed to begin. Her wedding to singer Nick Jonas was considered to be the reason behind her exit. Salman later roped in Katrina Kaif for the movie.

Notebook marks the Bollywood debuts of Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal. Salman also released a special song for the film which has been sung by him. Salman, who also features in the music video of the song, took to his Twitter handle to share the romantic number. He wrote, “Dekho Aur pyaar me kho jao, #MainTaare 4th song of #Notebook out now.”

Reportedly, Salman Khan took up the song and replaced singer Atif Aslam after the All India Cine workers Association announced a ban on Pakistani artists following the Pulwama terror attack.

Recently, Salman Khan and his Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam director Sanjay Leela Bhansali have been in talks for a movie for a long time. After countless speculations concerning their project, things have fallen into the place because the movie maker is ready with the basic script of the movie. As per the media report, SLB has begun working on screenplay too. Reuniting nearly after 20 years, Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are set to project a love story on the silver screen again. “He had discussed the concept with Salman Khan before the release of his last directorial, Padmaavat. Salman Khan is equally excited to collaborate with him. Sanjay has been working on three simultaneously and was in talks with several big actors. He has finally decided to go ahead with this one which will be spearheaded by Salman,” a source informed the leading daily.

CEO of Bhansali Productions, Prerna Singh confirmed the news by saying, “Yes, Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are reuniting after 19 years for a love story. Their collaboration is that the best thing that can happen in terms of story-telling.” As for the actress and different members of star cast, they’ll be signed soon.The love story will be jointly produced by Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. While the release date is not locked yet, they are eyeing for 2020 release. And if a similar report is to be believed, the film will go on floors within the second half of 2019. Apart from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Salman has worked with SLB in his directorial Khamoshi: The Musical and he did have an extended cameo in Sawaariya that featured Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.
