15 Detained for Interrogation over Shyam Sundar Ratowa Murder Case

GUWAHATI: Police has picked-up 15 people in connection with the Shyam Sundar Ratowa murder case that happened on Thursday. Shyam Sundar Ratowa was shot from a close range by an unidentified group of five persons. According to the Joint Commissioner of Police Devraj Upadhyay, among the 15 people under interrogation, two have been cleared. Upon a thorough search conducted at Jagadamba Iron and Steel Industries, cash of Rs 14 lakh was recovered from the premises. The proprietor of the business establishment is Shyamlal Sharma claimed that the cash was kept for investment in business. This proves that the miscreants came with the sole purpose of murder as they did not take the cash. The CCTV footages are also being thoroughly checked.
