51 passbook printers inaugurated at Customer Service Points of SBI

GUWAHATI: RS Ramesh, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, North Eastern Circle inaugurated the installation of51 passbook printers at Customer Service Points (CSPs) located at various districts of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Tripura through virtual platform. Ramesh dedicated all the passbooks printers to the customers of the North East and reiterated his commitment to stepping up financial inclusion activities. He also explained that SBI has created a distinct financial inclusion vertical for deep penetration of financial inclusion by leveraging technology and the Business Correspondent model. He put on record his appreciation for the commendable services provided by the CSPs during the pandemic period and emphasized the dominant role to be further played by the CSPs in financial inclusion drive.
