6 persons were arrested for violation of lockdown in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Six persons were arrested on the charge of violation of lockdown rules in the State on Thursday in Guwahati, leading to the registration of one case. Rs 2,000 has also been charged as fines from people for not wearing facemask.

On the day 58 two-wheelers and three four-wheelers were also seized during the day. Rs 42,500 was charged as fines for violations.
