AALSA conducts webinar on Fighting Climate Through Our Diet

GUWAHATI: The All Assam Law Students' Association (AALSA) successfully conducted the webinar on 'Fighting Climate Through Our Diet' in collaboration with Humane Society International/India.

The webinar was conducted by Noyonika Gogoi, State Outreach Coordinator, Humane Society International/India. More than 80 people and respected dignitaries participated in the programme. It included students from Gauhati University and Dibrugarh University.

In this event, Prasanta Bhuyan, Asst. Professor of Golaghat Law College, Farhin Warsi, Asst. Professor of NEF Law College, Jayashri Rajbongshi, Faculty of JB Law College, Anurag Gogoi, AALSA General Secretary, Adv. Debashis Nandi, AALSA Legal Advisor were present. The chief efforts to make this event a success was made by AALSA Kamrup District Members, Pranjit Sarma and Shristi Dey.

"The Youth of today must have proper knowledge about the symbiotic relationship between animals and the environment, as it the duty of ours as Citizens to create a humane, sustainable food industry," stated AALSA president Kishore Kalita.
