All Assam Law Students Association celebrates Independence Day

GUWAHATI: Like every year, the All Assam Law Students Association (AALSA) celebrated the 74^th Independence Day in a peculiar manner. The event started with the flag hosting ceremony and afterwards the AALSA members distributed books, pencils and pens to the children of the local community. The members also distributed food to more than 200 needy persons in various areas of the city. Not only that, the association also served food to the street dogs. The event was carried out by the AALSA president Kishore Kalita, general secretary Anurag Gogoi, chief organizing secretary Aurobindo Baroi along with the other active members of the association. Kishore Kalita stated, "Like every year this year also we have celebrated the Independence Day in an extraordinary way with unity, prosperity and peace."
