All Guwahati Students' Union opens donation centre for flood-hit people

GUWAHATI: The All Guwahati Students' Union (AGSU) opened a flood donation collection centre at Swahid Nyas Bhawan at Uzan Bazar here today.

The students' body took the measure to extend help to the flood-affected people of the state with wherewithals from generous donors.

In a statement today, AGSU president Anwar Hussain appealed to the people or organizations to donate baby food, general food, essential commodities etc., generously to the flood-affected people.
