APCC opposes Piyush Hazarika's warning to the traders in Fancy Bazar

GUWAHATI: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has expressed strong opposition to Minister of State for Health Piyush Hazarika's warning to the traders in Fancy Bazar.

APCC spokesperson Gaurav Somani dared the minister for an open debate on the issue on any community forum. In a statement, Somani said that the merchants of Fancy Bazar are no less than the corona warriors as they are maintaining the food chain even in this crisis, regardless of the threat to their lives. "For them, more than earning money, playing their moral social responsibility at this time is an example of human values... In such an environment, a live show by the government warning the traders in the market through Facebook Live ... It is very condemnable and the civilized society will never forgive it," Somani said.
