APCC to conduct interactive sessions with unemployed youths in State
As a part of its job creation campaign, the APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) will conduct interactive sessions with the unemployed youths in all 39 constituencies enlisted in the second phase of polls in the State, on Sunday (March 28).
GUWAHATI: As a part of its job creation campaign, the APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) will conduct interactive sessions with the unemployed youths in all 39 constituencies enlisted in the second phase of polls in the State, on Sunday (March 28).
Just like in all 43 constituencies of the first phase, this engagement drive will be under the banner of — Congress' 5 lakh Government Jobs Plan- A Conversation.
According to a statement issued by the APCC, the party's candidates, from the second phase, who will also be leading the event from their respective constituencies, have invited all the individuals, who have registered online for their Government Job Guarantees, to attend the interaction-based events.
"The events will follow a Q&A format and the candidates will hold one-on-one interactions with the attendees. As per latest numbers, over 1,60,000 people from across the State, have registered on the Party's official website- www.congressor5guarantee.in," stated APCC Media Department chairperson Bobbeeta Sharma.
"The numbers are a testimonial of the success, the Congress party has been able to garner by taking its Job Guarantee Plan to the ground level. The candidates will also address the people's questions about the party's Online Job Registration Programme and motivate, unemployed youth of the State to undertake the initiative of submitting their applications on the party's website," Sharma added.
Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot along with All India Mahila Congress president and Outreach Committee chairman Sushmita Dev will lead the interaction-based event in Silchar and Karimganj.
Pilot will attend rallies and roadshows in Silchar and Karimganj on Sunday.
