Assam Govt. releases Rs. 2000 each to 86 thousand people stranded outside

Guwahati: The Government of Assam has provided financial help to the people stranded outside the state due to the ongoing nationwide lockdown. Revealing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Glad to share that we have released Rs.2000 each to 86 thousand people stranded outside the state.” The Minister also said that the state government Rs. 25 thousand each to 647 cancer patients. He further said that the more calls received on the government helpline number 96154-71574 are being verified.
