Assam State Ayurved Congress Organized Free Health Checkup Camp In Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Assam State Ayurved Congress organized a Health Awareness cum free health checkup camp at Paschim Boragaon, Guwahati with an aim to spread the knowledge of health through Ayurveda in collaboration with Surabhi Nagar Unnayan Samiti on June 16, 2019 from 3 pm onwards at Surabhi Nagar Namghar.

At the beginning of the camp the members of the Surabhi Nagar Unnayan Samiti welcomed the doctors and the public present in the venue. They praised the effort of the organization to serve the people. The General Secretary, Assam State Ayurved Congress, Dr Dilip Kr Goswami and Organizing Secretary, Dr Ganesh Chandra Dev Sannah, Life Member Dr Dhiren Deka and Dr Naba Kr Hazarika delivered lecture on the rich heritage of Ayurvedic system of medicine in prevention and cure of the diseases. They also said that, people can get almost side effect free health service from Ayurvedic system of medicine. They highlighted the superiority of Ayurvedic system of Medicine, the preventive principles of diseases according to Ayurvedic classics and invited the people to come forward to enjoy the services of the system.

The participants in the programme raised some queries in relation to prevention of diseases and rules for maintenance of good health and the doctors discussed with them on the issues. After the discussion there was health check-up where about 100 patients were examined and served with some medicines and prescriptions. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks of the members of the hosting organization.
