Brawl After Accident in Rupnagar, Birubari

GUWAHATI: After a head-on collision between an Alto (AS01HC9881) and two Royal Enfield bikes (AS01DJ7770) and (AS01BS8516) on Sunday evening, a fight broke out between the two parties. The incident occurred in Rupnagar, Birubari and acquaintances of the Alto owner, Prasanta Rabha, came out with machetes and hit one Anuj Das who was the brother of one of the bike riders. He was grievously injured by a machete. A patrolling team of Rupnagar Outpost arrived on the spot but was unsuccessful in controlling the angry mob. A constable, Rakesh Sharma was also injured in the brawl.
