Budget Review Meet for the financial year 2019-20 Held At Circuit House

GUWAHATI: To discuss the upcoming Budget preparation and promotion for the financial year 2019-20, a review meeting was held at Circuit House on Tuesday. DC Kamrup (M), Biswajit Pegu was present during the occasion along with Deputy Director, Deepak Kumar Bora, Cotton College professors, students and others. Bora said, “Last year, we visited schools and colleges to pan out the revenue and budget. This year, we are planning to hold the review in the office of the DC. Voting can be done both online and offline.” Assam Chamber of Commerce Chairman, Rupam Goswami commented that this step is a good sign and urged the people of Assam to participate to create a standing budget. “This budget review should hold the views of all classes of people”, he said.
