Cotton University to observe World Environment Day

GUWAHATI, June 4: The Cotton University in collaboration with Indian Federation of United Nations Association will organize World Environment Day, 2018 on June 5 at the University premise with the theme, ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’. Befitting the occasion, the organizer will carry out a rally from the campus to raise awareness about excessive use of plastics damaging human health and exploring sustainable alternatives. The programme will be followed by screening of documentaries, brainstorming session, talks and discussions throughout the day. Including the Vice Chancellor of the Cotton University, a host of dignitaries will enlighten the august gathering on the theme.
