COVID-19: Kamrup (M) district administration shifts stranded people in hotel, Dharamsala

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup (M) district administration has taken two vital measures to prevent the occurrence of COVID-19 – launching a WhatsApp number 91-9365429314 and shifting people stranded at Guwahati Railway Station and ISBT (Inter-State Bus Terminus) to Sanganeria Dharamsala at Fancy Bazar and Hotel Contour at Paltan Bazar. While 89 people have been given shelter at the Dharamsala, 35 others have been lodged in the hotel. The district administration has more such arrangements for accommodating more people. The entire expenditure for these arrangements will be borne by the district administration.
