CRPF Meets Martyr Maneswar Basumatary’s Family In Tamulpur

GUWAHATI: B IGP CRPF, NE Sector Prakash D along with JPK Ray, DIG CRPF, Guwahati, and Balai, Commandant, 10 bn, met the family members of Pulwama martyr, late HC Maneswar Basumatary in Tamulpur, on Thursday.

They laid a wreath on the portrait of the martyr and paid homage to him. IGP assured the family members of all help from the Central Reserve Police Force.

Central and State ex gratia, insurance from SBI, and help from central welfare fund have already been paid. The daughter has been given a job in the tourism department by the Government of Assam. Monetary help from “bharat ke veer” has also reached the family. IGP Central Reserve Police Force said that the son will be given a job in Central Reserve Police Force immediately after his graduation. A large number of personnel from CRPF, family members, well-wishers and the general public were present on the first month death anniversary of Pulwama incident.
