Defamation suit by city restaurant

Guwahati, July 12 : It was only recently that a customer filed an FIR at Dispur police station (case no 1904/18 under section 270 / 273 of IPC) against Kareem’s restaurant located at the RG Baruah Road in Guwahati on charge of being served unwholesome food. Today the management of Kareem’s filed an FIR at Dispur PS alleging that according to the CCTV footage, the customer had complained after consumption of the food served . According to the owner of restaurant Alen Ahmed it was a preplanned move by the customer and hence he lodged an FIR ( Case No 1944/18 u/s 294/ 506) against the customer Konkona Medhi alleging defamation.
