District Administration Ban Liquor In City During Holi

GUWAHATI: An order has been passed by Kamrup (Metropolitan) District Administration enforcing a ban on liquor selling during Holi. DC Biswajeet Pegu ordered that all wine shops should remain shut till 4 pm on March 21. He explained that the prohibition is to ensure peace and safety in the city during the festival.
