Drug addicts may be involved in temples thefts in Guwahati, suspects Police

GUWAHATI: City Police has suspected involvement of drug addicted youths in the recent theft cases that took place at four temples in Maligaon area. Even though the police is picking up few youths involved in such addiction, their involvement in theft cases has not yet been confirmed. The police has, however, arrested two such youths Dilip Kalita and Devananda Das after recovery of suspected brown sugar from their possession under the NDPS Act.
