Duo arrested for luring married woman by Hatigaon Police in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Hatigaon Police has arrested two persons for allegedly luring a married woman.

The accused have been identified as Saiful Alom Choudhury (27) and Khairul Islam (21), both from Goalpara district.

The police stated that Saiful Alom Choudhury lured the woman and Khairul Islam was his driver.

The duo has been sent to judicial custody and the victim woman has been rescued.

The arrests were made in response to a case (126/2021 u/s 366/380 IPC) registered at the Hatigaon Police Station.
