Gambling dens active in Guwahati City

GUWAHATI: As is the case every year, gambling dens have rush of gamblers in and outside Guwahati these days.

Dharapur, Garal, Bhattapara, Mazirgaon, Agchia etc under Azara Police Station; Gorchuk, Pamohi, Ahomgaon, etc under Gorchuk Police Station; Lalmati, Basistha, Ghoramara, etc under Basistha Police Station; Satgaon, Panjabari, Bagorbori etc under Satgaon Police Station; Noonmati, Bamunimaidam, Railway Colony under Noonmati Police Station gambling has been going on openly. Places near Guwahati Railway Station falling under Panbazar Police Station are also agog with gambling.
