Get ready to face cyclone Amphan: Kamrup (Metro) District administration

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup (Metro) District Administration, on Wednesday, requested the people to keep themselves ready to face the cyclone Amphan. The District Administration instructed all the head of line departments to keep their officials and equipments ready to tackle any situation that may arise during and after the cyclone. According to a notification issued by the administration, "APDCL, Forest, Telecom Services, Fire and Emergency Services (SDRF), PWD Building and Roads Departments will ensure 24x7 readiness of their staff and machineries to deal with the immediate requirements."
