Guwahati: Socio-cultural organisation 'Anajori' declared Anajori Awards 2023
The socio-cultural organisation 'Anajori' has announced the Anajori Award 2023. This award is conferred on all the people who work for the development of literature, culture, and social sectors in the state.
GUWAHATI: The socio-cultural organisation 'Anajori' has announced the Anajori Award 2023. This award is conferred on all the people who work for the development of literature, culture, and social sectors in the state.
Anajori President Jayanta Hazarika and general secretary Alakesh Ranjan Bhattacharjya declared the names of the achievers of Anajori 2023 on Sunday. The 'Lifetime Achievement Award' will be conferred to noted educationist and critic Dr Ananda Bormudoi. The 'Hemchandra Goswami Memorial Anajori Award' will be given to litterateur, writer Arupa Patangia Kalita.
The Indra Bania Memorial Anajori Award will be given to actor-director Brajen Borah. The Charu Gohain Memorial Anajori Award' will be given to noted artiste Loknath Goswami. The Mahananda Sarma Memorial Anajori Award will be conferred to folk artiste Nilkanth Dutta. The Pranith Baruah Memorial Anajori Award will be conferred to singer Madhusmita Bhattarcharya.
The Basanti Devi Memorial Anajori Award will be conferred to writer and professor Dr Marami Choudhury. The Ambika Nath Bhattacharya Memorial Anajori Award will be conferred to columnist Dr Debojit Mahanta. Barkhashrestha Xangbadikota Botah will be conferred to senior journalist Partha Dev Goswami.
Apart from these, a special Anajori Award will be conferred to Padmadhar Basumatary, Mrinmoy Choudhury, Gopal Sevak Dhulia Dol, Roumari, and Pulak Barman. According to general secretary Alakesh Ranjan Bhattacharjya, the awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held at the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati on October 15.
