Hatigaon police recovered Rs 17 lakh from two persons

GUWAHATI: Hatigaon police recovered Rs 17 lakh from two persons – Iftikhar Ali (42) hailing from Lakhimi Nagar and Sanjib Kumar Das (40) an SB constable of the Assam Police hailing from Bhetapara in the city – on Wednesday night. They were travelling in four-wheeler (AS01BG2443) when there was curfew. The four-wheeler belongs to Sanjib Kumar Das.
