The 37 National Highway, particularly below the Khanapara fly-over went under flood water.

Dimoria Correspondent adds: The eviction drive launched by the Kamrup (M) administration over the last two days in the Jorabat-10 Mile area on the outskirts of the city continued even today. However, the heavy downpour in the area in the morning hours of Sunday caused flood in the Jorabat-10 Mile area. The flood led to stranding of a large number of vehicles in the area while the sufferings of the travelers knew no bounds. Although after about 2 hours the road was clear of flood water, it was covered with a thick layer of soft mud.
