GUWAHATI: Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT-G) is all set for the celebration of the 21st edition of the annual techno-management festival Techniche, from August 29 to September 1.
Addressing the media in a press meet organized at Guwahati Press Club on Friday, Labanu K Konwar, Suraj Shelke and Gopi Krishna highlighted the exciting activities such as the lecture series, which will be graced by Global Head of Layout, Double negative Paul Arion and CTO and Founder at Synchron Nicholas Opie, a panel discussion, a management conference, and some other programmes on Robotics and contests like Virtual Stock Market and Business Plan. Besides this, following the long tradition, the 11th edition of the Guwahati Half Marathon will be back with the theme “Run for Clean and Safe Drinking Water” that will start from the Bhogeswari Phukanani Indoor Stadium on August 25.

Konwar said, “Techniche being a complete student body organization, always tries to uplift the technology aspects in North East India and encourages students through its exciting events and interesting competitions. Being one of the largest technical festivals in India, it gives North East an eminence on a global standard, and, it provides a platform for many students to prove themselves on a nationwide level”.
