JFTUEF Strike On Jan 8, 9 Over Central Government Policies

GUWAHATI: Joint Forum of Trade Unions and Employees Federations (JFTUEF) is staging a protest on January 8 and 9 all over India.

JFTUEF has expressed their protest over issues regarding Central Government’s anti-labor and anti-people policy, privatization of Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport, privatization of oil fields, unresolved payments of Nagaon and Cachar Paper Mills employees and demand over the increase of daily wage to Rs 351 per day of tea labours. The two day strike is urged to be well observed in Assam as well by the JFTUEF.
