Kritagyata scheme launched across seven more districts

GUWAHATI: The Kritagyata scheme which was launched as a pilot project in Kamrup (Metro) on October 1 by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in presence of Pension and Public Grievances Minister Phani Bhusan Choudhury has been launched in seven other districts of the State.

The portal 'Kritagyata' is an online pension submission and tracking system. With the help of the portal, the retired government employee, besides submitting pension related papers on line will get opportunity to check the status of his pension. The portal has been created in line with the 'Bhabhisya' portal of Government of India.

The Sentinel, Minister Choudhury said, "After Kamrup (Metro) we are planning to launch the Kritagyata scheme in Kamrup, Dibrugarh, Karbi Anglong, Cachar, Nalbari, Barpeta and Bongaigaon." Under the Kritgyata scheme, the school teachers who are under Inspector of Schools (IS) will be benefitted. It is to be noted that one of the main objective of the scheme is to provide Pension Payment Order to the employees on the day of their retirement.
