KWS conferred its lifetime achievement award to Dr. Kushal Konwar Sarma

GUWAHATI: The Kaziranga Wildlife Society (KWS), the oldest conservation NGO of Northeast, conferred its lifetime achievement award for the year 2019 on Padmashree Dr. Kushal Konwar Sarma at Guwahati Press Club on Thursday. Each year KJS felicitate eminent personalities for their contribution to wildlife conservation. Talking to the media after receiving the award, Kushal Konwar Sarma said, “I’m overwhelmed to receive this award. When I thought of working for wildlife and started working for wildlife health care, there was no motive of getting awards and recognition. Today I’ve been recognized with this award and that has inspired me to do more for the welfare of wildlife. The problems for wildlife are increasing day by day.”
