Lady of Irrigation department of Assam Govt arrested for collecting money for jobs

GUWAHATI: The Crime Branch of Guwahati Police on Monday arrested one Jugoni Brahma, an employee of Irrigation department of Assam Government on charges of collecting money from different individuals by promising them to give jobs. She was arrested from Irrigation department colony in Ulubari and a case (13/2020) has been registered against her in Crime Branch. Commissioner of Police, Guwahati Munna Prasad Gupta said investigation is and the police is trying to trace the accused links to other persons.
