Lockdown violation: Assam Police has made 1,029 arrests, 3,983 vehicles seized so far

GUWAHATI: Amid the 21-day nationwide lockdown, Assam Police has made 1,029 arrests in the state with 427 cases being registered till 4 pm, Friday.

According to reports, total number of incidents reported till 4 pm Saturday, stands at 768. Additionally, 3983 vehicles have been seized. 12 country boats have also been seized. A total fine of Rs. 13,84,900 have been imposed so far.
