GUWAHATI: Lt Colonel Maynak Bora (41), son of Colonel Biren Kumar Bora, a serving Artillery Officer died at Bareilley on September 26. The officer was posted in high Altitude area in Drachula Sector on the Chinese border. He is survived by his wife and two-and-nine-month daughter. His last rites will be performed at Guwahati on September 28.

He was coming on one month's leave. Yesterday afternoon after lunch he was sleeping and when he didn't wake up then found dead. The cause his death is likely to be heart attack, a press release said.
