GUWAHATI: Set Wet, Marico Limited’s male grooming and hair styling brand, on Saturday successfully completed the second episode of its first-ever biking campaign ‘#SetWetGo’ in North East India in partnership with the most popular biking group of the region – Assam Bikers.
The objective of the campaign was to interact with the youth of the North East; and what better way than biking as a medium of engagement in this part of the country. The campaign started with a rally from within the city up to the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM), where Set Wet had organized a number of fun activities for students to engage with the brand. The activities were based on hair styling and biking, the overall atmosphere of the event was loved and appreciated by the participants who attended the event. Set Wet goodies and stylish biking merchandises were worn by Assam Bikers and participants-alike.
The full day activity was embraced with breath-taking performances by Rapers and Bboyers from the city who are popularly known as AkhuTush. The audience had a great time singing and dancing to their beat boxing and rapping! With a flush of over 800 students, the campaign concluded with a great success, stated a release.
The campaign was started by none other than Mayur Mahanta, co-owner of Assam Bikers. Mayur Mahanta said, “This is an exciting collaboration with Set Wet and students today associate biking with style. Of course, Safety is the most important aspect of biking and we promote the same consistently. ‘#SetWetGo’ is a campaign which promotes style along with safety and has helped, portray a blend of styling and safety on a large scale.”
