Miscreants loot Rs 50,000 and several important documents in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A bag containing Rs 50,000 and several important documents were stolen from a vehicle parked at the India Club complex under Panbazar Police Station on Tuesday.

According to reports, unidentified miscreants broke into the car of Pramod Singhania and fled with the bag. The victim has registered a case at the Panbazar PS - 617/2020 u/s 379/427 IPC.

The police are checking the CCTV footages and have spotted a scooty rider entering the premises of the complex. They are suspecting that the scooter rider might be responsible for the theft. The further investigation is underway.
